The Transverse Flute is the most agile and dexterous of all wind instruments, there is very little it cannot play. Chromatic and diatonic melodies, arpeggios, frivolous and showy passages can be played at very fast tempos, both with and without a reed.

In addition, the repetition of near and far skipped intervals, staccato (staccato It.), trill, tremolo, grupetto and similar techniques can be played very easily on the flute. Single tongue, double tongue, triple tongue and frog tongue techniques can be easily performed.
The flute's crescendo and decrescendo possibilities are greatly limited compared to other instruments.
Some trills and tremolos are impossible.
Since it is necessary to spend a lot of breath, especially when playing the loud passages in high notes, the sentence structure should include spaces that will allow the flutist to take a breath every now and then.
