Seven Inspiring Sound Engines

The Grandstage X features seven independent sound engines, each of which can stand alone as a separate product. These sound engines provide unparalleled sound and performance quality for a wide range of sounds, distinguishing the Grandstage X as the flagship among stage pianos.

Premium Piano and Electronic Piano Sounds with SGX-2 and EP-1

Equipped with the SGX-2 acoustic piano sound engine, the Grandstage X features an extensive library of world-famous pianos. With loop-free samples in all keys, up to 12 levels of velocity, damper resonance to reproduce the sound of pedal pressure, and even mechanical noise, the SGX-2 delivers the ultimate in acoustic piano elegance and powerful expression. The result is a piano sound that delivers the ultimate in acoustic piano elegance and powerful expression.

Grandstage X features 13 main pianos, including 6 renowned grand pianos selected from German, Italian and Japanese classical grand pianos. The new GSX Piano and Nautilus Piano can even be used together with the GSX Far Piano and Nautilus Far Piano to create the perfect piano ambiance of your choice.

Other piano sounds include the well-known upright pianos and baby grand pianos, the popular OASYS Piano for band music, the legendary SG1D Korg stage piano, the M1 Piano, indispensable for the POP style of the 80s and 90s, and the fortepiano, an instrument of the era, to name just a few.

In response to requests from many professional musicians, three mono piano tones and a midrange-focused tone variation are available. Voiced from a dedicated mono recording source, these mono piano tones and a piano tone that does not interfere with the EQ bandwidth of other instruments in the group provide unparalleled clarity and harmony, and offer performance options never before available.

The electric piano sound source "EP-1" adds Tine I Early to the typical model that uses the metal rod (tine) striking method. Its earthy, distorted tone reproduces the familiar sound we know and love from so many classic records. The collection also includes seven more classic electric piano sounds: Tine I Late, Tine II, Tine V, DMP, and 200 and 200A, which are based on the diaphragm (reed) striking method. The MDS (Multi-Dimensional Synthesis) technology, an evolution of the velocity switch concept, responds smoothly to even the most delicate keyboard touches. The German EP and Tablet EP are presented to enthusiasts with sound designs that perfectly simulate and implement realistic amps, cabinets, and even vintage effects.

Three Unique Organ Voices with CX-3, VOX and FC-1

The tone wheel organ sound source "CX-3" is a perfect reproduction of the famous Korg combo organ. The transistor organ sound source "VOX" reproduces the sound of the VOX organ, which was introduced in the 1960s and had a great influence on popular music. The other transistor organ sound source FC-1 reproduces the small organ that dominated this period together with the VOX organ. Combined with the rotary speaker effect and vibrato effect built into the sound source, you can really enjoy playing the organ.

The Grandstage X features a total of 700 sound programs. In addition to the five sound engines listed above, the Grandstage X also includes the AL-1 analog modeling sound source for clean leads and thick brass sounds, and the HD-1 PCM sound source for a wide variety of tones and instruments. The HD-1 includes many different keyboard instrument sounds, including the 8-step multi-sampled Clavi D and Clavi E, harpsichord, pipe organ, 6-step multi-sampled electric grand piano, and FM electric piano with a unique metallic sound.

The Grandstage X has a distinctive design that is instantly recognisable and destined to become iconic. The sturdy, painted aluminium body is designed with smooth curves and the curves rising from the bottom to the sides are made of perforated metal. The vintage and futuristic look of the design is combined with the light ivory white top panel to create a striking appearance.

Key-Touch Slider for instant touch control

The Key-Touch Slider gives you instant control over how the volume and timbre of the keys change with each keystroke, allowing you to customize the keyboard's playing feel in real time to suit the music you're playing. Simply adjusting this knob gives you a more or less precise touch feel, increasing the expressive power of the Grandstage X while finding the perfect position for your individual playing style.

3-pane control section for Split and Layer

The control section is neatly laid out with three knobs and sliders. The on/off switch lets you use layers and splits, and the sliders let you adjust the sound balance to your liking. The program name of each track is listed on the screen for easy modification. Layers and splits can be used simultaneously, so for example the right hand can be layered with piano and strings, and the left hand with bass and your choice of bass plug-in.

Add Warmth to Your Voice with Nutube

The Analog Tone feature provides an analog sound effect that can only be achieved with a tube sound. The ON/OFF key can be used to adjust the effect and the knob can be used to adjust the effect amount, so you can find the sound you like best.

Enhance Your Sound with Effects and EQ

Grandstage X gives you easy control of Reverb and Delay directly on the main panel, allowing you to quickly switch between effect types and adjust depth.

A new shimmer reverb has also been added and a 3-band equalizer is also provided to adjust the overall sound character to suit the acoustic characteristics of each live venue.

Effortlessly Add Volume to Sounds with the Unison Function

The "Unison" feature, familiar to analog synths but not unique to stage pianos, is provided. By adding this feature to the synth voice or FM piano, a wide and spectacular chorus-like effect can be achieved. The number of notes can also be adjusted using the unison slider.

User Friendly Rhythm and Accompaniment Section

The Grandstage X is equipped with a Rhythm and Accompaniment feature, an evolution of the rhythm feature found on some Korg synthesizers. A full-fledged rhythm consisting of drums and bass can be matched to played chords or a preset chord sequence, and can be played alone or together with the Grandstage X.

Premium Japanese-made RH3 Keyboard for Nuanced Expression

Precision-crafted in Japan, the Grandstage X features Real Weighted Hammer Action. The RH-3 is meticulously designed to reproduce the weight distribution of a grand piano, with a heavier feel in the low notes and a lighter touch in the high notes, allowing for nuanced expression. This sophisticated and detailed keyboard ensures a realistic and immersive playing experience for the 700 sounds in the Grandstage X.
