The U86 XT is a versatile USB 2.0 audio interface for Mac and PC that takes USB audio technology to a new level by providing better performance for better results.
These interfaces provide a total of 8 input channels and 6 output channels for simultaneous use. Not only does it provide 24-bit/96kHz resolution, balanced 1/4" TRS line connectors, it also includes switchable +48V phantom power, 2 Hi-Z instrument inputs for electric guitars, 2 integrated microphone preamps with XLR inputs on the front of the unit, and coaxial digital S/PDIF inputs and outputs. There is also an integrated professional headphone amplifier with outputs on the front. External keyboards, synthesizers, and sound modules can be connected via the MIDI inputs and outputs.
The U86 XT supports the latest WDM, ASIO 2.0 and CoreAudio technology for Mac and PC, providing fast, high-performance low-latency drivers based on EWDM and DirectWIRE technology, allowing you to use the interface with all standard audio applications available for the professional.
