Easy registration
PortCaster features two Neutrik input jacks that accommodate professional microphones, and a TRRS input jack for connecting a phone. Now you can easily add remote guests to your podcast. Just call them and PortCaster does the rest. PortCaster is also a versatile mixer. It has an Auxiliary stereo input that lets you effortlessly add background music or sound effects to your podcast. PortCaster can be connected to a camera via the stereo line out and 46dB pad.

Discrete Microphone Preamps
Sound quality starts with the microphone preamps. The onboard Jasmine microphone preamps feature a dedicated, discrete transistor design with 65dB of clean, low-noise gain. This makes it easy to connect any condenser or dynamic microphone, including the notoriously gain-hungry SM7B and RE20.

Mix-minus for remote guests!
Mix-minus is a feature used by radio stations to add guests to their program. Mix-minus prevents annoying voice feedback from going back to the caller over the phone line. You can also have guests call in from your phone with PortCaster, Mix-minus works that way too. Just connect your phone and call your guest.

Mono blend releases!

Some streaming services don't offer stereo sound. PortCaster's handy mono blend button can combine input channels so Instagram, Facebook Live, Webex, Zoom, and other services can hear both participants at the same time. Even stereo music or sound effects on the Aux 3/4 can be mixed down to mono if needed.

Dual Optical Limiter
To help better control recording levels, PortCaster features independent, soft-knee optical limiters for both Host and Guest, providing truly professional sound. Opto analog limiters can catch audio peaks early, preventing nasty digital clipping.
