Nux MG-400 Guitar Effects Processor
Cheap Price - Expensive Workmanship!
NUX MG-400 is a valuable modeler similar to its little brother MG-300. MG-400 features 2 powerful DSP chips for high-definition White-Box Amp Modeling algorithm (TS/AC-HD) and Core-Image post-effects. Since the launch of MG-300, people have been very satisfied with the sound and playability, ease of use tone adjustment and intuitive interface. And now, MG-400 adds more parameters on top of the basic features of MG-300.
[TSAC-HD] - WHITE-BOX AMP MODELING
Same Amp Modeling Algorithm as MG-300 for Easy Tone Tuning:
White-Box Amp Modeling and Pre-Efx algorithm deliver realistic playability and analog sound response.
The concept of "inspiration comes from chaos" applies perfectly to analog circuitry. When you change the knob, it affects itself as well as other parameters. For a linear digital system, the parameter is independent. The White-Box algorithm provides real-time feedback step by step. NUX TS/AC-HD offers the same playability that most guitarists miss in a real tube amplifier.
IMPOLSE RESPONSE
512 Sample IR and preset slots
The MG-400 offers 512 sample IR resolution. You can load 3rd party IR files using our NUX QuickTone editing software (supports up to 48 kHz sampling rate). The included 25 guitar cabinet IRs combine 4 classic microphones with 3 mic positions to provide a quick and easy way for beginners to experience multi-effects. Additionally, 8 bass cabinet IRs and 3 acoustic guitar IRs are included, giving you the ability to play bass guitar on the MG-400 or use electric guitar to simulate the sound of an acoustic guitar with the acoustic guitar IRs.
10 INDEPENDENT FLEXIBLE BLOCKS
You can move signal blocks freely in the MG-400 and/or QuickTone editing software. Set the PATCH LEVEL block in front of the AMP to boost the volume. Put the DELAY block in front of the gain stage to create groove riffs. Create a variety of tones with flexible block routing.
2.8” COLOR LCD
Its intuitive interface with a color LCD frees you from reading manuals.
SCENE FUNCTIONALITY
Use the scene to enable/disable blocks with either of the CTRL footswitches.
You can assign CTRL1 or CTRL2 to increase SCENE functionality. Each preset has 3 scenes which are snapshots within a preset. This is a powerful function for live concerts. Each scene can enable/disable signal blocks and retains the Delay/Reverb settings when you disable it with SCN CTRL.
Jam ( Drum & Looper )
MG-400 supports NUX Phrase Loop Sync with Rhythm. You can play the Rhythm and then record your loop.
* Select STEREO / MONO loop. (Stereo is 30 seconds, mono is 60 seconds.)
Two Recording Modes
*NR = Normal Recording works as normal loop function, when you press the CTRL1(LOOP) footswitch, it starts recording the track loop.
*AR = Auto Record, it will standby while you press the CTRL1(LOOP) footswitch, once you press the strings it will start recording your loop.
Quick Tone Editor Software
You can download the QuickTone™ editor from the MG-400 product page. An intuitive interface is provided to change parameters, drag the block order, set up SCN, save patches, load patches, export patches, load IRs, set USB routing and CTRL SET - all in QuickTone™!
USB Audio Interface
For home studio and quiet practice, the MG-400's USB audio capabilities make it the Swiss Army Knife of guitar audio interfaces. Connect it to your PC via USB and you can record, redub, and even broadcast tracks live with the MG-400.
In Normal mode, you can choose to Revert to playbacks from PC while live streaming.
Re-amp: The MG-400 offers Dry Out and Re-amp recording applications.
