Booster and Compressor Pedals are the secret weapon of the performing guitarist. With Masamune, both pedals are now combined in one, with selectable signal routing!

Before sending your signal to your amplifier and/or any effect unit, we boost your sound and create the driest signal. The booster adds a different color to your signal and if necessary, after adjusting the boost & drive levels, you can cut the high frequencies in your input signal with the Hi-Cut Toggle Switch.

Masamune’s Compressor does a better job of managing and enhancing your signal than you might expect. The Comp Level knob adjusts the final output level for the compressor, perfectly balancing your IN and OUT signals. The Sustain knob adjusts the compression ratio and increases the sustain. Higher Sustain levels compress your signal less when you hit the strings, creating longer, richer sustain. The Blend knob adjusts the compressor transparency from 50% to 100%, so you can adjust the blending of your compressed Dry signal to exactly how much you want. The Clip Toggle lets you choose the clipping range of your input signal. Toggle-Up will compress your signal for a fuller sound, while Toggle-Down will open up more space in your clipping range.
