The VOX Bobcat Series offers a variety of high-quality pickups that are built to withstand professional use. The new models feature a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece that has been loved by guitarists for years and are available in two colors: cool jet black and sapphire blue.

The Bigsby vibrato tailpiece was introduced to guitars in the 1940s and has been the dominant standard on guitars from many manufacturers ever since. Perhaps the greatest value of the Bigsby is that it immediately appeals to players with its rustic appearance. Adding a Bigsby to a guitar brings a characteristic brightness to the tone with a powerful sound that stands out.


S66: combines three single-coil pickups and volume control for a variety of tones

This model has three single-coil pickups, which is unusual for a semi-hollow-body guitar. These pickups can be used in combination for a wide variety of tones. Each pickup has its own volume control that gives the player six different sound combinations: neck and bridge, middle and neck, middle and bridge, middle only, and neck and bridge only. This allows you to enjoy variations in tone by mixing the sounds from the different pickups. Setting the pickups to the same level gives you what is called a “semitone” sound, and adding a bit of middle gives the neck or bridge sound a kind of fatness or humbucker-type feel.
