Motu 624
16 x 16 Thunderbolt™ / USB3 Audio Card with ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology

Equipped with the renewed ESS Sabre32 Ultra™ DAC technology.
The 624 features the same award-winning analog audio quality and proven performance as MOTU's flagship 1248 interface - housed in a mobile half-rack.

32 simultaneous audio channels
Studio-grade inputs and outputs are mobile recording-ready.

You get 2 microphone inputs, 2 guitar inputs, 4 x 6 balanced analog outputs with dedicated main outputs, 8 channels of ADAT optical, and independent headphone outputs for 16 inputs and 16 outputs. The optical ports also support stereo TOSLink (optical S/PDIF).

Excellent analog sound quality and high-end converters for performance in the most demanding conditions.

Renowned ESS Sabre32 Ultra™ DAC technology delivers 123dB dynamic range and the same proven, award-winning sound quality as MOTU's flagship 1248.

Ultra-low latency and proven, high-performance MOTU drivers! With the best possible latency performance, the 624 delivers incredible low latency (RTL) performance of 1.6ms over Thunderbolt and 1.9ms over USB at 96kHz.

Connects to your computer via Thunderbolt™, super-fast USB 3.0, or AVB/TSN Ethernet with support for 256 audio channels (128 in and 128 out). USB audio class-compliant firmware and high-performance industry-standard drivers work with any audio application. Connects to iPad™ with a standard camera connection kit (adapter).

• Super speed USB 3.0
• Compatible with USB 2 and iOS.

• Thunderbolt 2
• Compatible with Thunderbolt 1 & 3.

• AVB/TSN
• Multi-channel audio over Ethernet

DSP mixing and effects processing
Console type mixing with 48 channels and 12 buses.

The 624's fully featured 48-input digital mixer offers access to 7 stereo aux buses, 3 groups, 64 network inputs, and DSP effects such as reverb, 4-band EQ, gate, and compression. If you're familiar with using a large-format mixing console, you'll feel right at home with the 624. If you've ever wanted to mix on a large console, the driver's seat is now yours.

Modeled vintage effect process
Classic reverb. Compression process modeled after the legendary LA-2A compressor. EQ modeled after British analogue console EQs. The 624's mixing and effects DSP engine delivers virtually unlimited headroom and high-quality sound.

Flexible matrix routing and separation
Direct your voice wherever you want with a click.

Send any input to any output or multiple outputs. Covers all devices on the audio network as well as computer-to-computer routing.

Provide network control from any device
Control everything from your laptop, tablet, and smartphone.

The software you use to control the 624 isn’t on your hard drive, but a web app provided by the hardware. This means you can control the 624’s internal DSP, mixing, device settings, and network audio routing from your favorite web browser on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone connected to your local area network via wired or Wi-Fi. Use any web browser on any platform—Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android—as long as it’s on the same network.

Stand-alone with wireless control
No computer required
Connect an Apple® Airport™ or other Wi-Fi router with a standard Ethernet cable to wirelessly control device settings, powerful 48-channel mixing, and DSP effects.

System expansion
Expand your system with more I/O and Wi-Fi control

Connect second MOTU AVB equipment with a simple CAT-5e wireless.

Connect up to 5 MOTU interfaces with the MOTU AVB Switch (sold separately).
